APRIL 2017 FENG SHUI FLYING STAR FORECAST

April 2017 Flying Stars (April 4-May 4)

What to Expect

Each month Stars ‘fly’ from sector to sector within a property.  Knowledge is power so use these monthly forecasts to benefit from the highs and avoid some of the pitfalls.  Do always remember though that a month is at most 31 days so a bad month in an annual good sector is not the end of the world.

Yang Wood Dragon (Jia Chen) in Spring

As we move into April and the last month of Spring the energies begin to change.  Dragon is known as a Spring Earth animal and Earth months signify transition between one season and the next, in this case Spring to Summer.  Dragon is located in SE1 (97.5-112.5) it has a clash relationship with the Dog in NW1 (292.5-307.5) and combination relationship with the animal of the year, Rooster in W2 (262.5-277.5).

Yin Water Rabbit (Gui Mao) is stepping aside as we welcome the Yang Wood Dragon (Jia Chen).  Along with the Goat, Dog and Ox they are known as the Storage or Graveyard animals.

If you do not know your Chinese animal sign please contact us and we will be happy to send you the information.

Yang Wood month begins on April 4 and ends on May 4.  In the 24 Seasons of the Solar Calendar April 4-April 20 is known as Clear and Bright.  April 21-May 4 is Grain Rain.

The dominant and timely energies of Period 8 (8, 9 and 1 stars) are located in East (8), Southeast (9) and Centre (1) for the year.  There are four sectors with He-Tu combinations and these are West (3-8 Wood), Northwest (2-7 Fire), Northeast (4-9 Metal) and the central palace (1-6 Water).  Southwest has 7 Annual/3 Monthly creating the sum of ten.

What is in store for each of the nine sectors of the Luo Shu Grid during April?

NORTH-Annual 6/Monthly 2: Resident Qi 1:                       April has the 2 Earth Star moving into the North.  Earth controls Water in the controlling cycle of the five elements.  Water is weak with Earth gaining more strength as we move towards the summer season.  This combination produces mud making the possibility of illness of the stomach striking residents of the North.  Definitely a month to be extra careful about what you eat and drink to avoid falling foul of this duo.  In general this is not a bad area and with the He Tu combination of the innate energy of the North (1) and the visiting annual 6; there are opportunities available in career so stay healthy and take advantage of the positive.

SOUTH-Annual 5/Monthly 1: Resident Qi 9:                        South sees its share of challenges in 2017 with the annual 5 Yellow Star present.  In April the 1 White Star visits combining with the ‘home’ energy of the South (9) to create the sum of ten.  5 Yellow Earth Star will control Water and Water controls Fire energy of the South.  All in all this area will continue to see its share of challenges during the month and should be avoided if at all possible.  Certainly ensure no activation or renovation is carried out to avoid possible serious repercussions.

WEST-Annual 3/Monthly 8: Resident Qi 7:                           The annual 3 Jade Star of Disagreements has the 8 White Star of Current Prosperity for company in April.  This 3-8 He Tu combination creates Wood which controls the inherent Metal energy of the West.  In general terms the West will experience a relatively stress free month so by making use of this location you can take advantage of the 8 Star and the positive benefits it brings.

EAST-Annual 8/Monthly 4: Resident Qi 3:                            East sector is auspicious in 2017 with the 8 White Star of Wealth in residence.  April brings the 4 Wood Star into the picture.  While this star of literary success is generally positive the excess of Wood makes for an uncomfortable ride.  4 (Yin and female) and 3 (Yang and male) are generally at odds with one another and do not make the best combination.  Conflict in relationships is therefore a possibility.  You can certainly spend time in the East however if you are Gua 3 you might have a more difficult month ahead.

NORTHWEST-Annual 2/Monthly 7: Resident Qi 6:            The Annual 2 Black Star of Illness sees the 7 Red Star of Violence pay a visit.  This He Tu combination creates Fire which is currently strong.  As Fire controls Metal in the controlling cycle of the five elements all should generally be well for residents of this sector.  The resident 6 and the visiting 7 do not harmonise so there is the likelihood for conflict however awareness is your greatest tool.  Take care and you should have little to worry about.

NORTHEAST-Annual 4/Monthly 9: Resident Qi 8:             Northeast welcomes the 4 Green Wood Star in 2017 and in April this is joined by the 9 Purple Multiplying Star of Future Prosperity.  This He Tu combination produces Metal.  You could find that your relationships improve if you spend time in the Northeast.  The 4 Star will continue to support students studying for exams.

SOUTHEAST-Annual 9/Monthly 5: Resident Qi 4:              9 Purple Star of Future Prosperity has a home in the Southeast during 2017.  In April the arrival of the 5 Yellow Earth Star will make this one of the more challenging locations for the month.  Stress may become an issue for anyone in this area.   If you have no choice then spend as little time here as you can to avoid getting caught in a negative downward spiral.

SOUTHWEST-Annual 7/Monthly 3: Resident Qi 2:            Annual 7 Red Star of Violence and the 3 Wood Star join forces in the Southwest in April.  This pairing makes the sum of ten, a positive sign.  In addition 2-7 is a He Tu combination creating Fire.  Overall however there is conflict at every turn.  The Earth energy of the area is controlled by Wood with 2-3 making an unwelcome couple.  Take care of your property if your main door is located in this sector ensuring it is locked securely when you are away or at night.  Whilst there is potential for disharmony remember it is only for one month and knowing what could happen can allow you to take control and side step issues before they get out of hand.

CENTRE-Annual 1/Monthly 6: Resident Qi 5:                       The central palace of a property has the auspicious 1-6 He Tu combination creating Water.
