April 2018 Flying Stars (April 5-May 5)
What to Expect
Each month Stars ‘fly’ from sector to sector within a property. Reading these monthly forecasts allows you to benefit from the highs and avoid some of the pitfalls. Always remember that a month is at most 31 days so a bad month in an annual good sector is not the end of the world.
Yang Fire Dragon (Bing Chen) in Spring
Spring is coming to a close with the month of the Dragon. This Yang Earth animal brings with it the Fire element , soon to be the dominant energy of the following season of Summer. The two seasons in April relating to 24 seasons of the Chinese Calendar are Clear and Bright (April 5-April 20) and Grain Rain (April 21-May 5).
Unlike the positive combination brought about by the Rabbit and Dog in March, April sees a clash. Dragon and Dog are clash animals, both Yang Earth they go head to head this month. Do you have Dragon in your Chart? Where does it appear? Do you know its influence in your life? If you don’t know please contact us and we will be happy to send you the information.
Dragon has its location in SE1 (112.5-127.4) around the compass and represents the hours between 07.00-08.59 in the 12 x 2 hours of the Chinese Zodiac.
Like Goat, Dog and Ox, the Dragon is known as one of the storage, or graveyard, animals. They represent the final month of one of the four seasons. Dragon stores the Water element and this is the element that enhances or strengthens the Wood of springtime.
Earth element animals signify stability and support, imagine how we would be if there was no earth beneath our feet!
In 24 mountains Dragon has a clash relationship with Dog in NW1 (292.5-307.4). It is part of the Water frame along with Rat (Zi) in N2 and Monkey (Shen) in SW3.
Were born in the Year of the Dragon? What time of day was it? Do you have Dragon anywhere in your BaZi chart? Depending on its location (year, month, day, hour) it will have a specific meaning for you.
If you do not know your Chinese animal year sign please contact us and we will be happy to send you the information including the influence the Dragon will have if it appears in your chart.
April shows a Sum of Ten combination in the Southeast (Annual 8/Monthly 2). This combination usually indicates positive outcomes relating to wealth enhancement when the necessary action is taken at the right time.
The dominant and timely energies of Period 8 (8, 9 and 1 stars) are located in Southeast (8), Centre (9) and Northwest (1) for the year.
So what can we expect for each of the nine sectors of the Luo Shu Grid in April 2018? Do you know how to superimpose a Luo Shu Grid over the floor plans of your property? Are you able to identify where your important rooms are located? If not contact us and we will be happy to assist.
NORTH-Annual 5/Monthly 8: Resident Qi 1: April sees an excess of the Earth element in the North. 5 Yellow and 8 White Star join forces. Even with the presence of the 8 White Star of Current Prosperity this is not a place to frequent. It is definitely not a location to spend time in and be careful not to activate the negative influence of the 5 Yellow. If you have not already done so place some heavy Metal objects in the North to help offset some of the negative effects at play here. Earth ‘controls’ Water in the controlling cycle of the five elements and with Water weak and Earth beginning to gain momentum care should be taken in this vulnerable area.
SOUTH-Annual 4/Monthly 7: Resident Qi 9: 4 Green Wood Star enhances the innate Fire of the South however the unwelcome intervention of 7 Red Star of Violence pays a visit in April. If you are working in the South then take great care to double check any paperwork. Avoid putting your signature on anything without reading everything, including the small print, carefully. If you have your main door here lock it carefully at night and when leaving the house as 7 Star also indicates robbery. On the positive side this month Fire ‘controls’ Metal and 7 Star is small Metal in the form of fine jewellery for example. It does also represent knives and scissors so take care if you use these in the South this month to avoid possible injury.
WEST-Annual 2/Monthly 5: Resident Qi 7: The Annual Illness Star is joined by the dreaded 5 Yellow this month. These two Earth element stars ‘produce’ the Metal of the West however this does not mean the location is positive. If you can avoid the West in April it will benefit you to do so. Keep bright lights away from this location otherwise it could enhance the negative aspects of these two negative Earth stars and cause illness and misfortune to manifest.
EAST-Annual 7/Monthly 1: Resident Qi 3: The 1 White Star related to career makes an appearance in the East in April. This Water Star ‘feeds’ the still strong Wood of the East and anyone looking to advance in their career could find opportunities appearing. They will not come easily however and there may be others looking to get the better of you at work. Stay strong and avoid confrontation to keep things moving in the right direction for you. Be careful using sharp objects in this area as the 7 Red Star could result in an unwanted injury.
NORTHWEST-Annual 1/Monthly 4: Resident Qi 6: The Northwest sees a reversal of fortunes with the 1 White Star and 4 Green Star together in April. Students particularly can benefit from this combination when studying or revising in this area. Anyone in the literary field will also find inspiration on tap when working here. The inherent Metal of the area produces the 1 White Water Star which in turn enhances the 4 Green Wood Star making this a positive location in April. Career advancement may be possible for anyone who works in the Northwest. Take advantage of the positive stars this month.
NORTHEAST-Annual 3/Monthly 6: Resident Qi 8: Residents of the Northeast may see unexpected cash appearing with the 6 White Star visiting. Young people may find a mentor or someone willing to help them progress. The 6 Star is known as Big Metal which is capable of felling the innate Big Wood of the East. The controlling energies of Metal/Wood and Wood/Earth could result in slow progress or even stagnation for anyone working here this month.
SOUTHEAST-Annual 8/Monthly 2: Resident Qi 4: The 8/2 Sum of Ten combination brings positive energies to this already auspicious area in 2018. If you run your own business you could benefit from working in the Southeast in April. This may bring you opportunities relating to prosperity . Activate this location to help bring the positive vibes to life. (Avoid activating SE1 so as not to upset Grand Duke Jupiter). There may be health issues to contend with, possibly related to the liver, however take care of yourself and all should be well.
SOUTHWEST-Annual 6/Monthly 9: Resident Qi 2: In general the Southwest is an auspicious area in April. If you have a Southwest facing house or if you have your bedroom in this area money luck is indicated. Parents and children may find themselves in conflict due to the clashing elements (9 Fire Star controls 6 White Star) so if your family room is located here it may be better to spend less time together this month.
CENTRE-Annual 9/Monthly 3: Resident Qi 5: 9 Magnifying Star and 3 Jade Star are in the centre this month.
Remember if you leave well alone and do not activate a sector Stars cannot be disturbed and will have no effect on your day to day life. Always check the external environment to ensure there are no negative structures likely to influence the energies of each sector.
