October 2018 Flying Stars (October 8-November 6)
Knowledge Is Power
Each month Stars ‘fly’ from sector to sector within your home or office. These monthly forecasts allow you to benefit from the highs and avoid some of the pitfalls when these Stars combine. You do this by avoiding negative and maximising positive sectors. If you have a bad location which is never used it cannot affect you. A month is at most 31 days so a bad month in an annual good sector is not the end of the world. Just be aware of what you can expect. Your animal sign, and its position around the compass, will also have an influence on you depending which Flying Stars are visiting your animal sign sector.
Yang Water Dog (Ren Xu) in Autumn
How about a different approach this month?
Our Dog is sitting by the water’s edge at sunset. Any significance? Well, yes! October brings a Dog month (to join its annual counterpart) which signifies the beginning of the end of the Autumn season, the ‘sunset’ of the third season of the year is here. Winter is on the horizon together with the strongest element of the season, Water! Are you ready for it?
The fun bit this month is having a Dog Month in a Dog Year. How will things fair during October? Two Dogs together…will they play nice or cause mayhem? We have already seen more than our fair share of natural disasters this year, is there still more waiting in the wings? How about the Man element (remember Heaven, Earth and Man – the Cosmic Trinity). How will Man influence proceedings?
Dog (NW1) born may find things a challenge this coming month. You can have the gift of the gab with the Annual 1 White Water Star and Monthly 7 Red Metal Star combination in the Northwest, however choose your words and timing carefully. Think before taking any action otherwise all that talk will go to waste.
The Pig/Boar (NW3) will have its fair share of challenges in October. If you are Pig born and you sleep in the Northwest can you move out of your bedroom for the month? This may help you avoid many of the negative issues waiting in the wings to throw you off course. They could be such things as financial loss/relationship issues/robbery.
Yin Water Rooster (Gui You) (W2) will preside over the first day of October (8th). Water is claiming more and more of the attention. Will this result in more Water based incidents? We are in a Metal Earth month and Metal creates Water while Earth muddies the Water. Never a pretty sight. Maybe Earth/Water related issues could still be seen.
Rooster (W2) born have an Annual 2 Black Star and Monthly 8 White Star combination. Yeh! Sum of Ten is a great thing to see. The Roosters among you may be blessed with financial success this month. Welcome all the opportunities coming your way and be proactive in your career, especially if you are looking for advancement.
Dog x 2 will make things more difficult for Dragons (SE1) as they have a double whammy of Year and Month Breaker to contend with. The combination of Annual 8 White Star and Monthly 5 Yellow Star will bring a sense of inactivity into the life of the Dragon born. Opportunities are still available however you will have to choose carefully which ones to pursue.
Another resident of Southeast, the Snake (SE3) will have a challenging month. Better to keep a low profile and wait for things to improve. This is not the month to start new ventures or take any financial risks. Save your ideas for another time.
The Horse (S2) has the Annual 4 Green Star and Monthly 1 White Star for company in October. This is a great combination for all students, researchers or anyone in the artistic field.
North, oh the poor North and by extension those born in the Year of the Rat (N2). With Annual 5 Yellow Star and Monthly 2 Black Star, both Earth element Stars, spending October together the Rat will do well to keep a low profile. Focus on self-improvement rather than blazing a trail that might really go up in smoke. Work on the internal rather than external.
And everyone, whatever your animal sign, remember to avoid activating the North in any way. There are still four months of this year left and the 5 Yellow is going nowhere for now.
Southwest has the Annual 6 White Star controlling the Monthly 3 Jade Star. For the Goat (SW1) and Monkey (SW3) this could present obstacles. Tempers may be frayed and patience sadly lacking. On the positive side there will be opportunities and good luck for the taking. However think carefully before making any decisions about which ones are best for you.
Ox (NE1) and Tiger (NE3) will see the Annual 3 Jade Star and Monthly 9 Purple Star in October. This combination is not bad and can, in fact, bring success for anyone willing to work for it. However always remember who helped you on the way and give appreciation to them. Older Oxen may feel tired, even exhausted this month.
Rabbits (E2) could well find themselves dispirited and uninspired this month. The Annual 7 Red Star and Monthly 4 Wood Star will cause disruption. It is only temporary so focus on your work and relationships and the feeling will pass. Even with this lack of inspiration on your part success is still there for the taking so always be on the lookout and when opportunities arise take action.
Do you know your Chinese animal sign? If not contact us and we will send you the information including the influence the Dog will have if it appears in your chart. Remember you have four pillars in your Chart (year, month, day, hour) and each one represents a different aspect of your life.
Do you know how to superimpose a Luo Shu Grid over the floor plans of your property? Can you identify where your important sectors are located? If not contact us and we will be happy to assist. The important areas of any living space are the main door, kitchen (stove), bedroom and office/study room. You can include the balcony in this if you live in a flat or condo.
