June 2017 Flying Stars (June 5-July 6)
What to Expect
Each month Stars ‘fly’ from sector to sector within a property. Knowledge is power so use these monthly forecasts to benefit from the highs and avoid some of the pitfalls. Do always remember though that a month is at most 31 days so a bad month in an annual good sector is not the end of the world.
Yang Fire Horse (Bing Wu) in Summer
July brings us to the height of summer. Fire is as its strongest and there is plenty of Fire around. Remember we are in a Metal Rooster year so the strong Fire will likely play havoc with the energies of the month. Fire is at its peak and Earth is gaining strength with each passing month. The home of the horse is S2 (172.6-187.5) and is a Yang Fire animal synonymous with the height of the summer season. Horse also signifies midday representing as it does the hours between 11.00-13.00 in the 12 x 2 hours of the Chinese Zodiac, the peak of the day and time when the sun is at its zenith.
In the 24 mountains Horse has a clash relationship with Rat in N2 (352.6-7.5) and combines with Goat in SW1 (202.6-217.5). It is part of the Fire frame along with the Tiger (Yin) in NE3 and Dog (Xu) in NW1. As one of the cardinal animals the Horse contains the pure Qi of Fire. It is a Peach Blossom Animal associated with likeability and attractiveness. Because of its purity however it can result in relationships with an edge.
Do you have Horse in your BaZi chart? Depending on its location in the chart it will have a specific meaning for you.

Yang Fire Horse month begins on June 5 and ends on July 6. In the 24 Seasons of the Solar Calendar June 5-June 21 is the Planting of Thorny Crops. June 22-July 6 is of course Summer Solstice incorporating as it does the mid point of the year.
In June the East has 2-8 Earth combination of 10.
The dominant and timely energies of Period 8 (8, 9 and 1 stars) are located in East (8), Southeast (9) and Centre (1) for the year.
What is in store for each of the nine sectors of the Luo Shu Grid during June?
NORTH-Annual 6/Monthly 9: Resident Qi 1: There may be opportunities for wealth enhancement presenting themselves if you have your main door or office in the North. Make sure you take full advantage when you are given such opportunities. Remember it is only by taking action that you can benefit from positive energies. While the North has its conflict energy of Fire visiting in June, the annual 6 strong Metal Star serves to strengthen the weak Water of the North. As Water is the controlling element of Fire this all makes the North a positive location for the month.
SOUTH-Annual 5/Monthly 8: Resident Qi 9: There will be wealth opportunities and it will be up to you to grasp them when they arrive this month. Despite the annual appearance of the 5 Yellow Star in the South all is not lost in the South during June. The welcome arrival of the 8 White Star changes the outlook somewhat. 5 Yellow and 8 White are both Earth element Stars. Fire and Earth have a close relationship making the South in June less challenging than in previous months.
WEST-Annual 3/Monthly 6: Resident Qi 7: In June grit your teeth and wait for the energies to change. There is the annul conflict of Metal and Wood in the West and this month the strong Metal 6 White Star moves in. With Wood now being weak this does not indicate major issues. The inherent Metal of the West however may be somewhat overwhelmed by the 6 White Star. This may cause disruption, disagreements and activate an element of competitiveness.
EAST-Annual 8/Monthly 2: Resident Qi 3: For those residing in the East there may be the chance of illness striking however this is likely to be minor at worst. Remember to be aware of your food and drink intake and all should be well. Earth and Wood have a conflicting relationship however as the East is auspicious in 2017 with the 8 White Star of Wealth visiting and 2-8 create sum of ten things are positive.
NORTHWEST-Annual 2/Monthly 5: Resident Qi 6: Taking care of your health, especially if you are the male head of the household or a business owner/MD will be important in June. It will be important to ensure you do not have too much Fire element here, either bright lights or an open fire/candles as it will serve to cause conflict between Fire and Metal. There is already enough of that around this year and especially this month. Earth ‘creates’ Metal so in June even though there is a 2-5 combination in the Northwest the strong Metal is likely to come through unscathed.
NORTHEAST-Annual 4/Monthly 7: Resident Qi 8: Visiting 7 Metal Star is fine jewellery and small sharp objects so the likelihood is that you can shine brightly if you spend time in the Northeast. You know the saying ‘the pen is mightier than the sword’ and in this instance it means checking paperwork carefully before signing anything to avoid untimely errors and unnecessary difficulties. There may be a chance of minor injury caused by sharp Metal objects. The Northeast has conflicting energies at play in June. The innate Earth energy of the area will be weakened by the 7 Red Star and controlled by the 4 Wood Star however this is nothing to worry about.
SOUTHEAST-Annual 9/Monthly 3: Resident Qi 4: In this summer season Fire is strong so best avoid too much bright light here. Take advantage of the positive here. If your main door, office or bedroom is in the Southeast you will find opportunities presenting themselves so be prepared. There can be too much of a good thing – in this case Wood. However 3-9 combine well together and can bring career advancement as well as fame. Remember 3 Star represents the Wood of trees always looking for the sun and striving to be the tallest and strongest.
SOUTHWEST-Annual 7/Monthly 1: Resident Qi 2: The 1 White Star represents wealth through career so if you are seeking career advancement or promotion spend time in the Southwest. You may be up against others looking for the same however as we say, ‘knowledge is power’ so use this to your advantage and give yourself the edge. 7 Star can allow you to shine however sit with your back supported to avoid being ‘stabbed in the back’ from others looking to take what you have.
CENTRE-Annual 1/Monthly 4: Resident Qi 5: When you have an open plan environment the 1-4 combination in the centre will benefit all.
