APRIL 2019 FENG SHUI FLYING STARS

April 2019 Flying Stars (April 5-May 5)

What You Should Know

Each month Stars ‘fly’ from palace to palace in the Luo Shu Grid.  Our monthly forecasts allow you to benefit from the highs while avoiding some of the pitfalls when these Stars combine. You do this by maximising positive sectors  and leaving the negative ones alone.  A bad location never used cannot affect you.  A good sector never used is a waste – so now might be a good time to start taking advantage of the positives!  A month is at most 31 days so a bad month in an annual good sector is not the end of the world.  Just be aware of what you can expect.  Your animal sign, although more to do with BaZi, will be influenced by Flying Stars.

Dragon

Yang Earth Dragon (Wu Chen) in Spring

How have things been for you since Spring Equinox?  This day (usually March 21) represents the first day of spring in the western hemisphere and middle of spring in the Chinese Calendar.  April will bring us into the final month of our spring season when the enigmatic Dragon takes centre stage.  This animal, together with the Goat, Dog and Ox are known as Storage (or Graveyard) animals.  Nothing sinister here, it simply represents a transition period between one season and the next, in this case spring into summer.

It also means Water, already weak, will lose even more of its strength.  Wood, still prosperous, and strong Fire are the dominant elements.  Earth* is waiting in the wings for its time to shine.  The first day of the new month,  April 5, is a Yang Water Monkey (Ren Shen) day.

*While Earth is present as the third month in each of the four seasons it still has its own moment of glory during the summer season as far as its strength is concerned.

As one of the Storage Animals the Dragon stores Water as well as its inherent Earth element and the Wood of the spring season.

Two of the 24 seasons of the Chinese Solar Calendar in April are known as Clear and Bright and Grain Rain.

Annual Star is large number / Monthly Star is small number

Northwest has a sum of ten combination during April (9 Annual/1 Monthly).  How it will affect the Dog and Pig born and Gua 6?

Sum of Ten is a positive combination.  In this case those of you born in the year of Dog or Pig as well as Gua 6 can expect good things to come from your endeavours.  9 (Fire) and 1 (Water) generally means achievement and success attained through cooperation and working with other people.  As long as you stay focused on your goals and consider sharing your thoughts, actions and vision with like minds, you can achieve great things this month.

  • While Fire and Water are usually in conflict, in the right combination they produce steam which has wide ranging and useful applications.

Rat born and Gua 1 have 4 Annual/5 Monthly to contend with in April.  Time to take things easy.  Aches and pains in any part of the body can manifest if you try to go above and beyond.  Sometimes you just have to know when to say ‘no’.  This is a month to be selfish and do what is good for you rather than trying to keep everyone else happy.

  • Wood (4) and Earth (5) are a conflicting pairing.  5 Yellow is always a Star to be wary of.

Ox and Tigers as well as Gua 8 should be aware of the 2/3 combination in the Northeast.  Whilst this pair generally indicates disputes, arguments and possible illness related to the stomach, you can also find new opportunities coming your way.  You will need to be careful with your preparation and paperwork, however with a focused mind you can achieve success.

  • Whilst generally a negative pairing the inherent energy of the Northeast, 8 White, can help prevent serious issues.

Rabbits and Gua 3 are set for a challenging month in April.  An excess of Metal (6/7) in the East, a Wood location controlled by Metal, will see possible infighting within the workplace as people seek to scheme in an attempt to usurp others for their own benefit.  The key to success this month will be care, tact and reflection to ensure a positive outcome for you in the long term.

  • Metal controls Wood in the Five Element Theory so an excess of Metal in this Wood area is something you should not ignore.

Dragons and Snakes as well as Gua 4 have a combination with the potential to create wealth, love and positive communication skills.  Things will not fall in your lap however.  It will be as a result of substantial effort on your part to manifest this success.  Be giving and friendly to others to encourage the right vibes thereby ensuring success is forthcoming.

  • The 8 White Earth Star creates 7 Metal Star making this a productive pairing.

Horse born and Gua 9 have a combination which may bring minor issues of conflict and betrayal.  However it also brings the ability to react positively, so do not be thrown off course by these issues.  Learn from them and move on.

  • Wood (3/4) feeds Fire (South) so this is generally a positive combination bringing the best of physical and academic pursuits to bear.

Goat and Monkey born plus Gua 2 should be aware of their thinking this month.  Their own self-doubt could result in stress and unhappiness which is basically self-inflicted.  It is important to relax and continue working towards your goals rather than focus on negative thoughts and emotions.

  • This Earth and Metal combination, whilst productive can lead to illness.  Remember the 5 Yellow is a Star not to be ignored.

Rooster and Gua 7 have a double-edged sword combination this month.  One the one side Star 1 can bring noble people into your life, people who bring you stability, peace and harmony. On the other side Star 2 is the Illness Star making stomach issues possible.  Ensure you take care of your health especially with regard to food and drink intake.  It would be wise to keep pregnant ladies out of the West this month.

  • This is a conflicting pairing with 2 Earth controlling 1 Water.  As Water is becoming weak and Earth stronger you may be vulnerable to the negative side of this duo.

The centre of any property has a great 8/9 combination in April.  Whilst a positive pairing you should seek to set realistic targets for yourself.  Expecting to take on the world and win would be best left for another day.
