SEPTEMBER 2019 FENG SHUI FLYING STARS

September 2019 Flying Stars (September 8-October 7)

Holidays over

A new school term begins

Daylight rises later and sinks sooner

Sorry folks!  Sad but true!  You may even have noticed a change in the weather, morning or evening dew perhaps? Whatever these changes are, and they can be subtle, there is no doubting we are well and truly in the middle of the autumn season.

Yin Water Rooster (Gui You) in Autumn

Animal of the Month

Our pure bred Rooster takes centre stage in September.  One of the peach blossom animals this metal bird in a water month can bring its share of mischief and may be difficult to deal with.

However if it is your peach blossom animal he could help if you are looking to improve your relationships.  Are you a dragon (chen), rat (zi) or monkey (shen)?  Then the rooster is waiting in the wings to help you find love or make you more likeable and attractive.  Hang out in the west and network 🙂

Metal reigns supreme in this autumnal season with water gaining strength.  Earth, fire and wood are under control and unable to exert any major influence as they did earlier in the year.

The Rooster and Dragon share an harmonious relationship.  Do you have one, or both, of these in your birth chart (BaZi chart)?  If you have Dragon alone then this month you may be able to take advantage of this friendship.  In which pillar does the Dragon reside?  Do you have Rooster, Snake and/or Ox in your birth chart?  These three combine to create metal.  Useful if metal is something you can use, not so good if it weakens your chart even more.  Remember autumn is already a metal season.

The first day of September is September 8 which is a Yang Earth Monkey (Wu Shen) day.  Earth produces metal.  Strong start to the month as this is a highly auspicious day.

September 8-September 22 is known as White Dew season in the 24 seasons of the Chinese Solar Calendar (have you noticed dew outside in the morning on your car or on the grass)?  September 23-October 7 is Autumn Equinox.  Each season represents 15 days in the Chinese Solar Calendar.

The Rabbits among you will be in direct conflict with this animal of the month.  They may both be peach blossom animals but that doesn’t mean they are a match made in heaven.

There is a sum of ten in the southeast this month.  Annual metal 7 combines with monthly wood 3 in a wood location.  There are early heaven combinations in north (4/9 = metal), northeast (2/7 = fire), south (3/8 = wood) and west (1/6 = water).  Generally positive their effectiveness depends on location and each are out of their ideal positions in September.

Beginning in the northwest where our animal of the year resides. As well as the Grand Duke, what do you think of  a 9/5 combination?  9 is fire and a magnifying star.  This means it strengthens any other star.  In this case the other star is 5 yellow.  What does this mean for anyone working or sleeping in this location?  Fire and earth have a unique relationship, they are interdependent and ‘take care’ of each other.  However that won’t stop this month creating negative situations for anyone spending time in this area.  Perhaps you might want to move your living/family room away from the northwest during September to avoid excess.  Excess in what you might ask?  Over indulgence or bingeing (whether it be food/drink, gambling or hobbies).  Maybe even spending more than you know you should!

  • The head of the household or business owner/CEO might find things getting too much for them this month.  While they may feel like curling up and hiding working through these feelings and finding a way out of any stressful situation is the way to move forward.

North is the first of the early heaven combinations with 4 annual/9 monthly.  This pair creates metal which will strengthen the inherent water element of the area.  It is also great for money management and connecting with other people in your field.  If you have an office, bedroom or main door in the north this will be a very good time to expand your network, so don’t waste the opportunity.  If you are looking for partners in business go for it.  The energy is working in your favour.

  • If you are Gua 1 or Rat born you could find a mentor or helpful person coming to your assistance to help you achieve your goals.

Northeast has another early heaven pairing with 2 annual/7 monthly.  This creates fire which instils passion and a positive state of mind to every person using this area.  Whilst it is not likely to see you making quantum leaps in your career you will make progress of a more modest nature.  Those of you working in fire related industries such as beauty or information technology can benefit, especially if your office or work space is in the northeast.

  • While this is a positive pairing despite their less auspicious attributes individually, you should still be mindful of how you communicate with others.  Best to think before you speak.  Also you would be wise not to lend money otherwise it could be the last you see of it!

Moving on to the east. The 6/2 combination is heaven, father, extreme yang (6) and earth, mother, extreme yin (2).  The one thing missing here is ‘man’ (heaven, earth and man of feng shui).  With this in mind it is a good combination which will help you (man) progress towards your goals when you take action.  Remain focused and consistent in your efforts and you will fulfil your dreams.

  • This combination is ideal for anyone seeking a more spiritual connection.  If you want to begin meditation for example using an east room would be hugely beneficial as a starting point.  Gua 3 or Rabbits especially may feel more spiritual this month.

Our sum of ten resides in the southeast for September.  This pairing is great for networking, prosperity and successfully hosting a party or corporate event.  Maybe even inviting the family over for a get together.  Individually these two stars are not ideal however together as a combination of ten they can allow you to achieve your targets.  Choosing the right team to work with you will be paramount in creating a successful outcome.

  • Choose your friends carefully and there is every indication all your hopes and dreams can be fulfilled.

Back to an early heaven pairing.  South sees 3 (strong wood)/8 (mountains) early heaven combo together.  This produces wood.  If you are working in a wood  related industry, and this includes areas such as teaching, sporting activities, woodcraft as well as herbal medicine fields, you can benefit from working or training in the south in September. This is a favourable combination for anyone in these wide ranging arenas more especially Gua 9 and those born in the year of the horse.

  • While you might have the ambition to succeed you will have to control your emotions to achieve maximum benefit from this combination.

With the annual 5 yellow seeing monthly 1 white water star this is not a match made on earth (as it is the southwest).  5 yellow earth star is likely to muddy the waters of the 1 white star.  This can cause illness (maybe stomach illness as we are in the southwest).  Even though earth is weaker now it still has enough strength to cause disruption.  Other aspects to consider are your thoughts and emotions.  They are water-related and could be negatively affected if you work or sleep in the southwest.  Gua 2, goat or monkey born should be aware.

  • Despite this negative combination you can overcome difficulties with the resources at your disposal.  You just need to take care of how you use them.  Think first, act second.

West has a great early heaven arrangement of 1/6.  1 (water) and 6 (metal) both auspicious white stars combine to invite wisdom with an edge.  Flowing water and strong metal create individuals with strict codes of ethics and the intelligence to carry out their duties to the letter.  Metal and water are the strongest elements at this time of the year so this can be a great combination to take advantage of in the west in September.

  • Gua 7 or Roosters can benefit from this pair if they remain focused on their goals and persistent in their endeavours.

Remember not everyone can use all the elements.  Your BaZi chart will highlight which you can take advantage of and those you may not have an affinity with.

Do you know your Chinese animal sign?  If not contact us and we will send you the information including the influence the Rooster will have if it appears in your chart.  Remember you have four pillars in your Chart (year, month, day, hour) and each one represents a different aspect of your life.

Do you know how to superimpose a Luo Shu Grid over the floor plans of your property?  Can you identify where your important sectors are located?  If not contact us and we will be happy to assist.  The important areas of any living space are the main door, kitchen (stove), bedroom and office/study room.   You can include the balcony in this if you live in a flat or condo.  These are the sectors to focus on when looking at the Monthly Flying Stars.

What else should you know to take full advantage of these monthly updates?
