FEBRUARY 2020 FENG SHUI FLYING STARS

February 2020 Flying Stars (February 4-March 4)

Changes come thick and fast as we move swiftly from Year of Earth Pig 2019 to Year of Metal Rat 2020.

February 4 brings new energy all round. As well as a new year and a new animal in charge, we also welcome our first month of 2020 with the Yang Earth Tiger. How will this majestic cat treat us?

Yang Earth Tiger (Wu Yin) in Spring

Will he be so laid back this month?

February is the first month of spring. We can all be forgiven for finding this hard to believe.

Let’s be honest the weather has been hugely unpredictable worldwide with no guarantee this is likely to change any time soon.

Our Tiger is one of the Growth Animals of the Chart along with its clash animal, the Monkey, as well as the Pig and its clash animal, the Snake.

Growth is only one aspect of these animals. They also represent travel, movement and change.

Do you have any of these animals appearing in your BaZi chart?

Where they reside (Year, Month, Day, Hour) will influence the effect they have on your fortunes.

Spring brings Wood as the prosperous element and Fire becomes strong. Water starts to weaken. Metal loses its place as a strong element and this time of the year takes a step back in the elemental sequence. Finally, Earth has no power in spring.

Our Yang Tiger will clash its opposite number, the Yang Monkey in February. Both impetuous and eager to get things done they find it hard to compromise so the Monkeys among you should be aware changes may appear. Are they good, or not so good and what will you do about it? Buckle under or deal with it in a proactive way?

February 4 is the first day of the new year and month. It is a Yin Fire Ox (Ding Chou) day. This is an inauspicious day so avoid conducting anything of importance. It is unlikely to turn out well.

February 4-February 18 is the Coming of Spring. February 19-March 5 represents Rain Water.

Annual Star is large number / Monthly Star is the small number

Probably the two best sectors for February are West with a Sum of Ten combination and Northwest with 8White/9 Purple Stars.

If the West is an auspicious location for you or you are Rooster born/Gua 7 this combination can give you the confidence to take a chance in your life and your career. Work hard, and even if you have doubts, don’t give up. The outcome you desire is only one step away.

Take advantage of the Northwest Palace to move towards your goals. However be realistic, this is not your time to aim for the stars. Gua 6, Dog or Pig born can all spend time in the area to make positive progress. If Northwest is a good sector for you take advantage of its positive combination to move forward in your career, relationships or your life in general.

Both Yang and Yin Wood appear in the North in February. Yin Wood has the uncanny ability to smother Yang Wood (imagine ivy climbing up and around the branches of a tree and choking the life out of them) so this pair together can attract conflict and minor negative incidents. The best thing to do here is learn from any experience and know better times will come.

The focus for Northeast in February is to welcome noble and helpful people into your life. When they appear say ‘thank you’ and appreciate the assistance they are prepared to offer you. Gua 8, Ox and Tiger born can take advantage of this area. West Group (Gua 2, 6, 7 and 8) people can also benefit from spending time here when working/studying or even penning the next best seller.

You will know by now that the East is not a location to take advantage of in 2020. February just reinforces that. Having 6 White Star here this month relates to, among other things, the head. Therefore if you are in this sector your stress levels will rise thanks (or not) to your own internal thinking. Avoid this location if you possibly can.

Southeast has the Sword Fighting Sha combination of 6 White/7 Red Metal Stars. Conflict is the order of the month however with a careful attitude you can get through this and everything will work out for the best in the long run. Be wary of injuries caused by metal objects.

South has a Yin/Yang conflict as well as elemental disharmony this month. If opportunities come your way it is possible to take advantage of them, however you will have to do your due diligence and work carefully to ensure success rather than failure. As this is a sector to be cautious of in 2020 it will be better to err on the side of caution rather than taking unnecessary risks.

Just when the Southwest was breathing a sigh of relief and saying farewell to the annual 5 Yellow of 2019, it finds the 5 Yellow monthly walking in.

If you have a salt water cure in SW leave it where it is until March.

This is not a sector to use for work this month. Gua 2, Goat and Monkey born would do well this month to take a step back, recharge their batteries and wait for better times to come – which they will.

You might think the 7 Red/8 White stars in the Central Palace is not a positive pair. The truth is it is not bad. Realistically however any success will only come with effort on your part. Things are not going to fall inyour lap. If you work hard at expanding your business/social network and socialise this month you can achieve your goals.

Do you know your Chinese animal sign? If not contact us and we will send you the information including the influence the Tiger will have if it appears in your chart. Remember you have four pillars in your Chart (year, month, day, hour) and each one represents a different aspect of your life.

Remember this is a generic assessment. Many things will determine your success or failure. For example not everyone can use all the elements equally. What is good for one person may not be good for another.

What else should you know to take full advantage of these monthly updates?
