AUGUST – Are You Ready for Autumn?
August 7 (Yang Water Dragon day) brings us into the Autumn season.
Yes, hard to believe but time marches on and in August our Earth Monkey brings a change of season.
We all know about the Monkey. One of the go-getters of the Astrological Animals clashing with its opposite number, the Tiger; our animal of the year. During August this will be more obvious.
Two action animals clashing, what can we expect to see as a result? Change? For better, or worse? It will be up to you. You are the one who can decide to go with the flow or create a new path.
Monkey, Rat and Dragon (the animal of the first day of this month) form a water frame. Now that summer is receding water is gaining strength. If you can use water as identified in your birth chart, consider using Rat days (15th, 27th) together with Dragon hours (07.00-08.59) to make changes.
Monkey hours are 15.00-16.59.
In Autumn Metal is prosperous, Water is gaining strength, Wood is ineffective, Fire is weak, Earth is weakening.

Its plain to see that all the sectors double up this month. This is known as Fu Yin. It signifies slowing down, self-reflection, time to look at where you are and where you want to be.
This is a month when it is good to know what you want, or need. Are you seeking wealth? Do you want to contribute more? Are you looking for strength, for increased support?
We will not go through each of the palaces this month. Just be aware of the following….
1-1 (Water)
As great as this pair are over a longer period of time, in the short term you could find yourself doubting your objectives or abilities. The solution is to avoid hasty action. Think first, act second.
2-2 (Earth)
Earth does not create miracles overnight so you need to be patient and study all options with care before making any moves. Trust in the advice of others.
3-3 (Wood)
This combination can cause aggression and anger. However it can also result in positive outcomes, just maybe not the outcome you were expecting.
4-4 (Wood)
Be precise in all your dealings. Think all your actions through carefully and success can be forthcoming
5-5 (Earth)
Do not think you know it all. Be careful in your interaction with those around you. If you act rashly you could find others turning against you.
6-6 (Metal)
If you are the boss or head of an organisation you could find someone trying to come in and usurp your position. To achieve success you need to stay focused and you can achieve success.
7-7 (Metal)
Be sociable, be generous this month. Nothing will come your way without major effort on your part.
8-8 (Earth)
Double the wealth with these wealth stars? Not really. Wealth can be forthcoming but it will not be quick. If you want to try a new avenue, don’t be afraid, go for it.
9-9 (Fire)
This is the magnifying star and can help make the invisible, visible. If you feel uncertain keep it to yourself. Don;t show your weakness. Stay calm and focused and you will find the next right move to take.

• southwest (SW3) is the year breaker sector so do not face NE3
