FENG SHUI FLYING STARS – DECEMBER 2020

December 2020 Flying Stars (December 7-January 4)

As we move into the penultimate month of our Rat year, the Rat moves into December. Oh joy! This also means each of the nine sectors in our home will have a double dose of either good, or bad. There is pretty much no average this time around, just considerations to take into account.

December is midwinter, the time of Winter Solstice and the Christmas season. Water is at its peak and this is the most Yin time of the year. Now is the time to decorate our homes to invite some much needed Yang energy into our lives. 2020 has been at best, an ultra challenging year, at worst, a life changing experience for us all.

There does appear to be some positives on the horizon for Covid-19 with vaccines in the final stage of testing. However with the best will in the world this will not be an instant fix so it is up to each and every one of us to take care of ourselves and to protect those we love at a time of year when we naturally want to be with family and friends.

Yang Earth Rat (Wu Zi) in Winter

Our Rat is a pure bred animal with nothing but water at its core so it can hold secrets close to its chest. With Yang Earth present water will at least have some structure. It will not be free-flowing, going wherever it chooses. While it will find the easiest route down, its journey will be dependent on Earth.

This is the Peach Blossom Animal for those of you born in the year of Pig (Hai), Rabbit (Mao) and Sheep (Wei).

The Chinese hour of the Rat spans two days. What is known as the Late Rat Hour is between 23.00-23.59. The Early Rat Hour is 00.00-00.59. What time of day were you born?

Ox born have an affinity with the Rat, which might give them an easier time during December. There is a relationship of give and take between these two.

Horse born, or anyone with Horse in their Birth Chart, will have a clash relationship with the Rat this month. You have been going through this all the time during 2020 so nothing new you might say. However with the ‘double trouble’ of the month, it could bring more severe reactions depending on where horse appears in your chart. Contact us if you want to know more.

December 7 is a Yang Wood Monkey (Jia Shen) day. This is an auspicious day ideal to undertake anything of importance. If you are Tiger born however do not use this day as it will clash your animal sign.

Let’s do things a little differently this month and follow the numbers from 1-9.

1-1 resides in the Northeast this month. Two white stars relating to long-term prosperity, wisdom and good health. Got to be good, right. Yes it is. However, 1 is a water star and water can indicate, among other things, not knowing what the next right step should be. Indecisiveness in other words. The ultimate outcome will be positive however just make sure you think things through before making any decisions of importance.

2-2 is in the South in December. Most of you will see double illness, and yes this could occur as a result of excess earth. It will be especially likely if there are negative structures outside the South of your property. Excess eating and drinking through the holiday season could result in stomach illness. On the positive side star 2 also relates to property, so is good to utilise if you are looking to buy property as an investment. It will be important to do your due diligence however and take time before making your choice.

3-3 in the North. Water of the north will feed these two Yang Wood. Will it feed the star of disagreements? Possibly. If you are easily annoyed and find it difficult to control your emotions this could well be the outcome. There is an upside however. Changes can occur in your life, and be positive, they may just not manifest in the way you expect. As this is the location of the Grand Duke (N2) it is not an area to activate/ As long as you keep things peaceful all should be well.

4-4 in Southwest indicates input, learning and knowledge in excess. Great for students and anyone working in Research and Development. You have to remember though that learning without subsequent action is meaningless. You can amass huge amounts of data but if you ultimately keep it to yourself you will achieve nothing. Make use of what you learn, be focused in taking action and you can reap the benefits of this duo.

5-5 in the East. You might think everything has already been said about avoiding the East this year. However 5-5 in December! Do you see this as a Sum of Ten combination? Indeed it is, however extreme care is the order of the month. You will need to retain good relationships with family, friends and business associates if you are going to take advantage of this pair. Don’t go into something with an ‘all guns blazing’ approach, it will not end well for you.

6-6 and the Southeast. A single 6 represents the head of a business, CEO, those in positions of power, so obviously 6-6 doubles up on that. Two leaders seeking power causes conflict at the top and this could be detrimental to the company involved. As an individual you can take advantage of these two as long as you are focused and determined. It will be necessary to take a step back from trying to dominate everything as this will cause you more harm than good. Better stay under the radar somewhat and work on your goals.

7-7 is in the Centre. If you have an open plan property, and you work in an area that requires you to communicate with others, you can make use of 7-7. 7 relates to speech and the mouth. Communicate your ideas to others, don’t keep things to yourself. You will have to work hard but you can succeed. The 7 star is also known as the robbery star, or star of violence. Be aware and take necessary precautions to keep you and your loved ones safe.

8-8 is in the Northwest in December. WooHoo! No cheering yet if you please! While this white star doubled does indicate wealth (8 star represents current wealth) remember it is also the mountain and that is not known for speed! Wealth is indicated, but slowly. Opportunities can arise and it would benefit you to look at these and choose carefully. Work towards success at a future date rather than expecting instant wealth. It won’t happen.

9-9 in the West. This combination indicates turning the unseen visible which can be positive depending on the circumstances. Yet those with hidden agendas will have their thoughts revealed for all to see. This can also make visible any failings you may wish to keep hidden, which is not a good thing. Keep yourself to yourself when it comes to showing others your shortcomings. 9-9 is positive for those in the creative fields. West is also a good location to use for meditation or relaxation this month.

The home stars of each sector, as well as your individual Gua number and Birth Chart will influence these combinations. The above is a generic view of each sector and the results will vary for each person There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to any of this. If you have any questions relating to specific sectors please contact us and we will give you more information.
